Biography

William Fuller Dyer the son of William Dyer V and Varilla Maria (Fuller) Dyer was born on September 9, 1850 in Waterville, Kennebec, Maine.[1][2][3] At the age of 9, he was in his parent's home in Waterille, Kennebec, Maine, along with 3 sibblings.[4]

At age 25, he married Helen Magery Harrington(1852-1921) on January 1, 1876, in Richardson, Nebraska.[5] They had one child.

  1. Crete Harrington, Dyer (1876-1957)

William (age 29) Helen (age 28) their daughter, Crete-3, lived in St. Joseph, Bucannan, Missouri in 1880, where he was a Store Keeper.[6]

They divorced on May 19, 1883 in St Joseph, Missouri.

He married Lydia Maria Bangs on November 20, 1889

In 1900, he was Widowed, and a Boarder, living in Washington Twp., Bucannan, Missouri, where he was a Real Estate Agent.[7]

He married Ella Grier Sherwood on June 11, 1903 in St Joseph, Bucanan, Missouri.[8][9]

In 1920, William (age 69) and Ella (age 53) lived in St Joseph, Bucannan, Missouri, where he was a Real Estate Agent.[10]

He died on July 19, 1936, at the age of 85 yrs. 10 Mo. 10 days, in St Joseph, Bucanan, Missouri, and was buried in the Ashland Cemetery.[11]

William Fuller Dyer is a Notary Public, and is engaged in the real estate business at St. Joseph. He is a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants, of Massachusetts, member of the Sons of the Revolution, and a pioneer in genealogical research in Missouri. To him the writer (Lora A.W. Underhill) is greatly indebted for information of the descendants of Jonathan4 and Keturah4 (Doane) Dyer, of Falmouth, Maine. (Descendants of Edward Small)
