Stephen C Dyer in War 1812 listed as born in Vinalhaven ME Their marriage found in "Eastern Argus" 4 Jan 1821--Stephen of Unity ME, and Esther Spaulding of Fairfield ME and married in Durham ME

. "Spalding Memorial" by Samuel J Spalding pg 89; states that the Spalding's were Quakers.

History of Gallia co Ohio says---"Both grandfathers of Mr. Dyer were in the Revolutionay War." This would mean Daniel Dyer and Samuel Cash both served.
