Biography

Solomon was born 16 September 1810, in Wellfleet, Barnstable, Massachusetts. He was the son of Solomon Dyer III (1775-1819) and Mary (Rich) Dyer (1779-aft.1850).^[1]

On December 18, 1831, in Wellfleet, Solomon Dyer married Betsey Holbrook.^[2]

In 1850, the family is living in Wellfleet.^[3]

And, they are there in 1860.^[4]

And, in 1870, Solomon and Betsy are on their own in Wellfleet.^[5]

Solomon, mariner, died at age 61, of congestion of lungs, on 20 February 1872, in Wellfleet, Massachusetts.^[6]
