George Dewey Dyer was born on 27 July 1898[1] in Enfield, Penobscot, Maine. He was the son of George Sayward Dyer and Maggie H. (Boyle) Dyer.[2] At the age of 10, he was in his parent's home in Enfield, Penobscot, Maine, along with his brother, Ralph-2.[3]
He married Alice M Riley (1898-1967) on June 15, 1918, in West Enfield, Penobscot, Maine.[4] They had 5 children.
They lived in Howland, Penobscot Maine, where in 1930, he was a Salesman for a Grocery Store, with Francis-9, Elizabeth-5, Geneva-3 and Lillian-1 in the home.[8] In 1940, he was employed as a Cook.[9]
George died at the age of 75, in 1973, and was buried in the Ridge Cemetery in Enfield, Penobscot, Maine.[1][10]
