Biography

William M Triboo Dyer was born March 2, 1832 [1][2] in Unity, Waldo, Maine. He was the son of Peter Dyer and Olive Harding.

William (age 17) lived in Jackson, Waldo, Maine, United State With his parents and siblings,[3]

He married Lydia T Moulton (1834-1872) October 11, 1853 in Jackason, Maine.[4] They had at least 4 children.

  1. Aurie Ella (Dyer) Willis (1854-1936)
  2. George M. Dyer (1856-1922)
  3. William Frank Dyer (1863-1950)[5]
  4. Benson Bragg Dyer (1867-1934)[5]

He was a Union soldier in the Civil War in 1865.[6]

His wife Lydia T passed away on October 27, 1872, in Pittsfield, Maine, at the age of 38. They had been married 19 years.

He married Charity T Higgins (1845-1907) on July 8, 1874.[7] They has 2 children.

  1. Heman Higgins Dyer (1877-1936)[5][7]
  2. Olive Mabel (Dyer) Partridge (1884-1977)[7]

They lived in Pittsfield, Somerset, Maine in 1880, where he was a Farmer, with his sons William-18, and Benson-13, and he and Charity's son Herman-3 in the home.[5]

William (age 68) and Charity (age 55) lived in Pittsfield Town, Somerset, Maine in 1900, where he was a Farmer, and charity was taking care of the home and family, Herman-23, and Olive-16.[7]

He died February 8, 1905 in Pittsfield, Somerset, Maine[1][8] He was buried in the PItsfield Village Cemetery[1]
