Clement (age 37) and Julia (age 21) lived in Kendall, Kendall, Illinois in 1870, where he was a Farmer and Julia was taking care of the home and children, Ella-3, and Nettie-1. They had a domestic and a farm worker also in the home.[5]
By 1880 Delia-9 and Ida-7 had been born and were in the home along with Ellen-13, and Nattie-10. They lived on their farm in Kendall, Kendall, Illinois.[6]
In 1900, at age 66, and retired, He and Julia, age 52, lived in Yorkville, Kendall, Illinois.[7]
His wife Julia H passed away on August 12, 1907, in Yorkville, Illinois, at the age of 59. They had been married 41 years.
He died on April 5, 1911[8] at the age of 78, in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery in Yorkville, Kendall, Illinois.[1]
