Date of his IPM (original not yet examined or abstracted).[2]
Notes
Visitation problems: The Visitations of Shropshire show that this Henry Eyton was succeeded by his son Thomas, followed by another Thomas, followed by Robert Eyton. [3] The first Thomas was age 30 and more in the IPM of Henry Eyton. Robert was aged 50 and more in 1582, and married by contract in 1546. There is not enough time from 1502 to 1546 to have three generations. So, is there a way to fix this? The first way would be to suppose that the IPM is in error and he was succeeded by his grandson and heir. This however would make the first Thomas born c1480 and does not fit with what is known of the previous generations. The second fix would be to suppose the Visitation is in error and that there was only one Thomas (with perhaps two wives?). WikiTree currently oops for the second theory and goes Henry - Thomas - Robert.
