- Matthew Edwards died at a local hospital Saturday night at the age of 61 years, following several months' illness. He lived at 1310 West Holly street. He is survived by three sons, all of South Bend, Wash. The body was shipped to Seattle by Arthur C. Harlow for cremation. -- Bellingham Herald, 4 Mar 1918
