- William Edwards who arrived about 1635 (is not the spouse of Dorothy). This was a different William who came aboard the Merchants Hope. (which sailed from London to Jamestown in 1635)

(I am still unable to find viewable Burkes V107 (no subscription and cost is prohibitive at $400+ (so someone else will have to provide a "transcription" or image if it can be located for references to Joshua (as Baron) and/or Father Richard (as Lord Surrey). The on line info only gives 2 sons Joshua and William (w/no additional info or sources). Many of the profiles included only "Ancestry" as a source. I do not have an Ancestry account so could not verify any as to "who they intended to represent" for possible merges/separations. Likely only DNA will be a determining factor at some point.

(See also https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Edwardes-10) I re-reviewed Dates and based on source info I think this William Edwards-13932 s/b unattached as son. The 1605 date was based on 50 acres received as headright in 1635 (apparently paid own passage to VA)
