Biography

Rolfe Eldridge, Jr. was born about 1781^[1], in Buckinghamshire, Virginia, son of Rolfe Eldridge and Susanna Everard Walker .

He worked as a clerk in Buckingham County, writing a letter August 11, 1842 that Lewis Brown and Clarissa Smith were married July 166, 17788 in Buckingham County, Virginia by the Rev. Rane Chastain^[2].

He married Mary 'Polly' Moseley.

He died 13 May 1861 in Buckingham, Virginia
