Nancy was born in 1788. She is the daughter of Francis Elledge and Charity Boone. [1] She was born at Warrior Creek, Wilkes, North Carolina[2]
On December 12, 1818, at Bath County, Kentucky, Nancy married Nathan Phillips. This was attested to an affidavit of Mrs. Malinda Jackson, acquainted with Nancy from her childhood, given October 16, 1861, the county of Pike, Illinois, USA, after the death of Nathan Phillips. [3]
In 1850, Nathan and Nancy, both age 61, were living in Pike County, Illinois, USA. Included in their house hold were: Edward M, age 29, Thomas C, age 27, Nimrod, age 21, and Cambya A, age23. [4]
Nancy died sometime after 1865 as she appears in the Illinois 1865 State Census [5][6]
