Major Samuel Emmons Jr (2 May 1761 – 2 Jul 1850 East Haddam, Connecticut[1]). the son of Samuel Emmons (20 Nov 1725 - ) and Hulda (Hunt) Pepoon, widow of Timothy Pepoon.
Note: Samuel Emmons Jr was mentioned by name in the will of his grandfather Jonathan Hunt.
On 6 Oct 1796 he married Sally Lord daughter of Nathaniel[2].
