Enfants / Children (orthographe originale / original spelling)[3]
Note: There is a baptism on 7 April 1736 in Terrebonne for a child of Pierre Defond and Marie Agnès__, the record is torn so neither the name of the child nor its gender is shown, nor the mother's last name. It is presumed to be for a boy as the word used is baptisé (masculine) rather than baptisée (feminine).[4] Tanguay ascribes the name Marie to the child.[5]
The family moved around from one location to another, they are first in Rivière-Ouelle, then in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, then in Yamaska. Between 1732 and 1733 they move to Terrebonne, and in 1733 Pierre gives power of attorney to his wife for the sale of land (written by the priest Poulin of Île Jésus).
