Note N335Although the Kendall Memorial says that Mary was buried in Leg Cemetery, no stone or marker can be found. She died in 1827 which was 27 years after Heman. It is possible that she may be buried in another place or remarried. Family researcher Dorothy Todd Avery says: " through the Fairbanks family we are related to royalty in England and surrounding areas; there is a lot written about the Fairbanks and the Indians, in fact one of our ancestors was killed by Indians; the Fairbanks House still stands and is the oldest framed house in America-there is a picture of it on the Internet and it has been recreated in Boston Commons because the framing is so unique."
