He came to Martinsville 54 years ago and has remained here ever since. He was one of the pioneer members of the Church of God and remained a faithful adherent to her.

Death came to relieve him of trouble last Monday morning while in the hospital at Kankakee.

The body was brought home and after a short service at the home he was laid to rest in the Kettering cemetery.

Research Note

1850 census spells the last name as "Feasig"; however, the next entry on the page is a "Fasig" household. "Fasig" is the most probable spelling.

Feasig-1 and Fasig-7 appear to represent the same person because: the birth and death information match, they have the same spouse, and one son (David, duplicate files).
