Let me suggest a candidate for this Anne Ferrers-56. She may be the "Anneys" who was the wife of Geoffrey Gresley-15. We see the Gresley of Drakelow book p41 that "His wife's name was Agnes, who occurs in 1291-2 a, when her husband and she (' Anneys ') make provision for a canon of Gresley to pray for her soul : that she was not then dead is shown by the fact that she survived b him." Drakelow is in Derby.

Robert 6th Earl of Derby Ferrers-225 is probably the father of "Anneys" and Eleanor BassetAlianore Bohun-18 Ferrers is probably her mother.

This Robert Ferrers-225 and Geoffrey/Godfrey Gresley-15 were buddies and into all manner of mischief together. "Geoffrey became of full age in about 1266 and was therefore born in about 1245. That he was not born much later than 1245 is apparent from the fact that he took a full share in the Barons' War of 1261-5, and shared in the disasters which befell them after the battle of Evesham, Aug. 4, 1265. He appears to have taken part in the wild doings of Robert Ferrers Earl of Derby." quote from p39.

"The daughter of the 6th Baron Ferrers of Chartley, Anne, married Walter Devereux [Devereux-52] who was summoned to parliament as Lord Ferrers in her right. Their descendants became Earls of Essex and the peerage was forfeited in 1601 on the attainder of Robert Devereux, 2nd Earl of Essex, but restored to his son Robert in 1604, on whose death in 1646 the peerage fell into abeyance." https://familypedia.fandom.com/wiki/Baron_Ferrers_of_Chartley (By the way, Cokanye referencing Dugdale sort of suggests the Eleanor who is the wife of Robert Earl of Derby Ferrers is Eleanor Basset (daughter of Ralph Basset). I could not make that work, and Cokayn is not so sure either. https://archive.org/details/completepeerage03cokahrish/page/n67/mode/2up page 67
