Margaret is mentioned as the wife of John de Forbes in a charter dated 18 July 1378, where the Bishop of Moray, grants to them the lands of Fynrossie on the loch of Spynie.[1][2]
At this stage that is the only reference to her and her family name is unknown. She is the only wife named for John de Forbes and she is assumed to be the mother of his son, another John de Forbes, but this is not confirmed.

I am thinking she should be disconnected from these parents. Her supposed sister with the same name was the only heir of her supposed father. Her IPM gives no indication that she married 3 times. Here is the supposed sister's IPM. https://www.british-history.ac.uk/inquis-post-mortem/vol9/pp233-248 Note that this can also not be the same person because of the death date. The Forbes wife was alive in the 1370s.
I believe this profile should be merged with Wake-3. This is the same Margaret Wake who was married to Edmund of Woodstock, 1st Earl of Kent, the sixth son of King Edward 1st. Also married to John Comyn.
I changed her last name to accord with her supposed parents and her birthdate so it is not 12 years after her fathers death but this leaves her with a sister with the same name who died on the same date and both birth and death a long distance away from the other
I adopted this profile of my presumed grandmother + but notice her surname is the same as her spouse. Likely just a mistake but before I research this issue (daughter of Mr. Wake, wife of Mr. Forbes or maybe even daughter of Forbes does anyone already know the answer? The profile says speculative so maybe it needs to be properly researched anyhow.
