Biography
John Forbes is a member of Clan Forbes.
John was born about 1445, the son of Duncan Forbes of Ardgeighton and Christian, daughter of Thomas Gordon of Auchindoir.[1] John married Magdalen Bessie, the daughter of Sir William Leslie, 4th of Balquhain[2] and they were the parents of John Forbes of Clovach, William Forbes of Terpersie, George Forbes in Coutlage, Meikle Alexander Forbes of Auchmillen, and four daughters.[3]
