Ruth Foster was born [probably at Machias, Maine] c1773, the daughter of Wooden Foster and Frances Scott; d c1809. She married Nathan Hanscom, son of Aaron and Sally (Sevey) Hanscom, as his first wife. He m (2) c1810 [first child b 13 Feb 1811], Susanna/Susan Weston.
