Biography

William was born in 1759 in Bertie North Carolina. William Freeman is a DAR Patriot of the American Revolution: Ancestor # a042166... He passed away in 1838 in Greene County Missouri and is the only revolutionary soldier buried in the Springfield National Cemetery.[1] [2]

Freeman-1044 and Freeman-6318 appear to represent the same person because: The birth and death dates match. Both men appear to have lived in North Carolina. (The one without places listed has a wife and daughter both listed as being from North Carolina)
