Thomas Gross of Eastham died intestate. On 14 March 1727/8 Mr. David Doane of Eastham was appointed administrator of his estate. Sarah Freeman, seamstress, was appointed guardian of the four minor children of Thomas and Elizabeth Gross on 18 March 1729. [2]
