Freeman-1985 and Freeman-2152 appear to represent the same person because: Merging away the non-existent Jonathan b. 1675 use the date on Freeman-2152.
Bobbie, I personally don't believe Freeman-2152 & Freeman-1985 are similar enough to be the same individual. Even If you look at the family members (especially the parents) as well.
It does become challenging when you run into names that are used frequently.
The Mayflower Society p. 156 Vol 24 Wm Brewster (2014) does not recognize a Jonathan, son of Mercy Prence and John Freeman. Let's detach the parents and find someone to merge him into.
Jim Manley, it looks like this was your profile when it was created. Can you supply any reliable sources, such as journal articles or vital records, etc., to support the profile?
I agree with Angelique. I find no evidence, other than unsourced family trees at Ancestry & FamilySearch, that he existed. Anyone else have a source for him?
He may have been confused at some point with one of his cousins: Jonathan, son of Thomas and Rebecca born in 1678.
Perhaps he should be disconnected from the current parents and merged with Freeman-2152.
