Nathaniel Frost, son of Nicholas and Dorothy, was born at Kittery or Portsmouth and was baptized Apr. 15, 1712-13. DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Nathaniel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Nathaniel:

Frost -127 and Frost-3520 confusion

Both of these men are named Nathaniel Frost, with similar birth and death dates. Both have Elizabeth Darling listed as their wife. But their lists of children are different, and their parents are different. This needs to be sorted out!

Since I'm working on a line that includes one of these Nathaniel Frosts, I decided to see if I could sort out this problem. After spending about four hours on Ancestry, NEHGS databases, etc., I finally went to the _Frost Genealogy in Five Families_, by Norman Seaver Frost, which seems to hold the answers. According to this genealogy, (p. 332), Nathaniel, Frost-127, was married to Elizabeth Darling. The wife of Nathaniel, Frost 3520, is given (p. 285) only as Elizabeth, no surname. With these two Nathaniels having very similar birth and death dates, I can see that someone might find the marriage of Nathaniel Frost to Elizabeth Darling and apply it to Frost 3520, not knowing that there was a second Nathaniel Frost. I have made the correction to the records for Nathaniel Frost-3520 and Elizabeth Darling.

Frost-2380 and Frost-127 appear to represent the same person because: dates are similar or the same, wife and son, Winthrop are the same
