Nathaniel Frost, son of Nicholas and Dorothy, was born at Kittery or Portsmouth and was baptized Apr. 15, 1712-13. He was a carpenter and farmer, and spent the most of his life at Durham and Lee, N.H. in 1733 and 1734 he was at Dover, but returned to Durham about 1737. He married, before November, 1739, Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Darling, since on that date he and his wife, Elizabeth, conveyed to his brother John his interest in the house and land in Portsmouth, "bo't of their father Thomas Darling, 10, Nov. 1737." In 1765 he signed a petition for the division of the town of Durham, and the creation of the parish of Lee. Children:
