Biography

Rebecca Fuller was born in Mansfield, Connecticut, on 22 July 1701, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Thacher) Fuller. She married Joseph Allen at Norwich, Connecticut on 29 April 1729.[1][2]

Their children were:

  1. Barnabas Allen, born 24 February 1729/30[1] and baptized February 22, 1730 at Norwich, Connecticut.[3]
  2. Jemima Allen, born October 24, 1731;[1] baptized 21 November 1731 at Norwich.[4]
  3. Betty (or Bette) Allen, born November 25, 1734 at Windham Connecticut;[1] baptized 9 February 1735 at Norwich.[3]
  4. Mary Allen, born Nov. 24, 1736 at Windham.[1] Dexter mistakenly claimed that Mary married her half first cousin Rev. Timothy Allen, Jr., the son of her father's half-brother Timothy, as his second wife. Instead, she married Timothy Allen of Lebanon, Connecticut, and died before 21 November 1780, when he married for the second time.
  5. Joseph Allen, Jr., born April 9, 1739 at Windham.[1]
  6. Samuel Allen, born March 10, 1740/1 at Windham,[1] baptized April 9, 1741 at the Scotland Society Church, and died at 5 weeks of age on April 14, 1741.
  7. Asahel Allen, born November 16, 1742 at Windham.[1]

Rebecca Allen died in Windham, Connecticut, on 18 May 1778.[1]

Fuller-10189 and Fuller-1088 appear to represent the same person because: These are clearly the same person. Same birth and death data, same husband (I don't understand why his profile was disconnected from Fuller-10189), the daughter Mary connected to Fuller-10189 is described in the text of Fuller-1088. These need to be merged.
