Biography

Research Notes:

Note: Married name variants include: Biglo, Bigloe, Bigloo, Bigelow

Note: Relationship to Parents still needs to be established. All sources reviewed does not list her as a daughter for Matthew Fuller or Patience (Young) Fuller. In fact, that same mistake has been made on other genealogy sites.

So, ruled out surnames list:

Fuller, Douglass

This is beautiful. Thank you. I believe this is a great portrayal for an actual "unknown". You did tremendous research on numerous profiles tangled in this mess. Thank you so much!
I have removed the Fuller parents from this profile. JSGB

to whom it concerns:

After extensive review of original sources and a dozen family trees I am convinced that the parents currently defined on this profile are not correct.

There is however, another Hannah (Fuller 1681-1731 married Jabez Bursley in MA.) that is a daughter of the Fullers incorrectly added on this profile.

Hannah Bigelow on this profile,(surname unknown) has been incorrectly defined as Hannah Fuller on numerous family trees on other genealogy sites of the same time period and locality. June 2016 Jerry Baraboo

Also, regarding initial comment, other children are listed for Josiah Strong and Hannah Fuller but they aren't my focus right now, so I've omitted them.
I researched Hannah Fuller last night, and I see how the Bigelow mess started. This is a copy/paste of the notes I took, unsourced for now, I'm working on a "mock" tree on ancestry and will import sources ASAP.
  • Hannah Fuller, daughter of Matthew Fuller & Patience Young was born 10 July 1712-Colchester, CT

On 1 November 1733 Hannah Fuller married

  • Josiah Strong b-9 September 1708 d- 27 October 1778

Children:

  • Hannah Strong born 8 June 1734, died 28 April 1778 she married Ezra Bigelow who was born 10 April 1736 in Colchester, CT. (Ezra Bigelow had a second wife, Lois Horton that he married in 1799)
  • Jemima Strong born on 7 April 1738, died 28 April 1828 she married Amasa Bigelow

The death dates of Hannah and Jemima are too similar, looking into that.
