Josiah Fuller was born on 02 December 1710 in Newton, Middlesex, (then) Province of Massachusetts Bay, the son of Jeremiah and Thankful (Bird) Fuller.[1]
He was named in his father's will. Jeremiah Fuller of Newton, made his will on 9 March 1742/3 which was proved on 13 February 1743. He named (among others) his son Josiah Fuller. He named all three sons as his executors.[2]
Josiah married Abigail Williams in Newton on 14 Jan 1738/9.[3] She was the 2nd daughter and 3rd child of Isaac Williams III and Martha Whitney (both of Newton, Mass.).[4]
Ensign Josiah Fuller died in Newton on 10 May 1793 aged 83 years,[5] and was buried in the West Parish Burying Ground in West Newton where his gravestone still stands, inscribed as:[4]
