Joshuah Fuller was born on 12 April 1703 in Newton, Middlesex, (then) Province of Massachusetts Bay, the son of Jeremiah and Thankful (Bird) Fuller .[1]
He was named in his father's will. Jeremiah Fuller of Newton, made his will on 9 March 1742/3 which was proved on 13 February 1743. He named (among others) his son Joshua Fuller. He named all three sons as his executors.[2]
On 22 May 1746, Joshua Fuller of Newton and Anna Stearns of Waltham were married in Waltham by the Rev. Warham Williams.[3] She was the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Hawkins) Stearns.

Captain Fuller died on 23 Aug 1777 in Newton at the age of 74.[5]
Joshua Fuller, gentleman of Newton, wrote his will on 14 September 1768 which was presented by his son Joshua Fuller on 16 March 1779 as the "surviving executor." He named his wife Anna; sons Joshua, David and Moses Fuller; daughters Anna and Eunice, both unmarried and under age 21. He named his wife Anna and son Joshua as executors.[6]
