Biography

Henry Pendleton Gaiines was born on 30 Mar, 1779 in Stokes, North Carolina to Thomas Gaines and Susannah Strother. He married Nancy Shipp on Jan. 27, 1811 in Stokes Co, North Carolina. Henry passed away on Jan 1, 1865 in Walker Co, Alabama and is buried there in Gaines Cemetery.,
