Margaret of Galloway was possibly the wife of Alan FitzWalter.[1]

She was born about 1130 in Carrick, Ayrshire, Scotland and passed away about 1182 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.

Research Notes

This imported profile initially had a father of Fergus of Galloway. This Fergus is not known to have a daughter named Margaret and has been removed. A DAR article cites Fergus as her father.[2]

I am curious. the Wikipedia page for her husband Alan is listed as a source for her, yet there is no mention on that page of him having a wife named Margaret or any wife with the last name Galloway. Is there something I am missing?

Galloway-1604 and Galloway-142 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same spouse, dates align

There is no evidence that this person is a daughter of Fergus of Galloway and Elizabeth Fitzhenry.

Unless evidence is presented she will be removed as their daughter.
