Biography
Eirik Galtung is named the father of riksråd Gaute Eirikson in an ahnentafel from 1548. The name 'Galtung' was incorrectly attributed to this family by later generations.
Eirik was probably the son of Sigurd Galte, who was the grandson of Gaut på Mel.
