Alexis Gamache was the son of Nicolas Gamache and Marie Dion.
On 29 Jul 1748, in Charlesbourg, Alexis Gamache son of deceased Nicolas Gamache and Marie Guion married Elene Chalifour(sic) widow of Pierre Auclair. Witnesses include the groom's father and the bride's father in law, Charles Auclair (signature) along with other named relatives. [1]
