From A History of the Baptists: "The result was that a church was organized in Charleston [MA], May 28,1665, Thomas Gould, Thomas Osborne, Edward Drinker and John George were baptized, and these joined with Richard Goodall, William Turner, Robert Lambert, Mary Goodall, and Mary Newel "in a solemn covenant, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to walk in fellowship and communion together, in the practice of all the holy appointments of Christ, which he had, or should further make known to them."[1]
Estate of John George: (Case 9017) In an attempt to decipher the names of the family members in this will: daughters Elizabeth Glazier and Martha Row(?), son John, daughter(?) Ruth George, Hannah George, daughter(?) Mary George appear represented. The remainder of the estate was to go to his wife, who named executrix, but appears not to be named specifically.
