I suspect Duncan married a much younger sister; some sources suggest Jennette, born around 1495, some suggest another Jean (Janet) born in 1500. It is quite possible for a family to have two children with the same name.
After researching Jean Gordon further {see http://thepeerage.com/p2207.htm#i22062 the peerage), Jean could not have been born in 1500 and married in 1506/7 to first husband, Colin Campbell. Also Huntly was not her lnab but part of her father's title Alexander Gordon, 3rd Earl of Huntly. If these facts can be agreed upon, then a merge should take place. Please consider the above references in this matter. Thanks, Cheryl
