Philip (III) passed away on September 17, 1742 in Brookfield, Worcester, Massachusetts at age 42.
Philip Goss and Kezia/Keziah Coolee/Cooley were married on November 25, 1723, in Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts.[1][2]
Phillip Goss of Brookfield, husbandman died intestate and on 12 August 1742, his widow Keziah was granted the administration of his estate.[3]
His inventory was taken on 17 September 1742 in Brookfield.[4]
In 1745, his son Phillip Goss was granted the administration of his estate, as his widow Keziah was now deceased.[5]
In 1746, an account of his estate by his son Phillip Goss for his deceased mother, Keziah Brown which included debts paid, legacies paid, and administration fees. His real estate could not be divided among the heirs without spoiling the whole so it was settled upon Phillip Goss who agreed to pay the other heirs their share, viz., Hannah, wife of Thomas Haskell, Keziah, wife of Zachariah Haskell, Thomas Goss, and Judith Goss.[6]
