Edward was born January 27, 1805 in Gorham, Cumberland, Maine, United States of America to Nathaniel Gould and Elizabeth McLellan.[1][2] He married [[Chase-70|Althea Chase]. He died in Portland, Cumberland, Maine, United States of America on May 11, 1894[3] and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, Cumberland County, Maine, USA, Plot: Sec-D Lot-116 Grv-7[4]
