Biography
Stanton George Green was born in 1918[1] at Kentville, Kings Co., Nova Scotia. He is the son of Cleveland Green and Dora Wilcox. He married Maxine Laurena White about 1944. Maxine was born in 1919 at Kennetcook, East Hants, Hants, Nova Scotia. Maxine and George had a stillborn son in 1945, and no other children.
Maxine and Stanton operated Green's Canteen for a number of years. Stanton died in 2002 at Windsor, Hants, Nova Scotia. Maxine passed away at Windsor in 2015.
