Biography

55 on funeral record, but marriage was in 1720, girls were considered marriageable at 12 only. Siblings before and after her born in Grondines. No baptism found for her.

Marriage
Pierre Lefebvre married Marie Catherine Grignon, daughter of Jacques Grignon and Marie Thérèse Riché, on 30 July 1720 in Grondines.[1]

12 known children to the marriage, 4 known to die young and 8 to marry[2]

Death
Marie Catherine Grignon, widow of Pierre Lefebvre, died on 4 May 1764, funeral on the 5th in Deschambault, the record giving her 55 years of age[3]

Il y a une fille née le 23 novembre 1697, baptisée le 24 à Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade, fille de Jacques Grignon et de Marie Thérèse __ (document endommagé), baptisée Marie Catherine.[4]; s'agit-il d'elle ou d'une soeur du même nom?

Nos Origines la dit être celle qui épouse Pierre Lefebvre, et lui donne un âge au décès de 66 ans. Ce qui ne concorde pas avec sa sépulture réelle, qui lui donne clairement 55 ans en 1764[3]. Même si ce n'était qu'un estimée du prêtre, ces estimations sont rarement dans ce sens mais plutôt des surestimations de l'âge.
