Biography

Margaret was born about 1814 in Tennessee [1] to George Grimes and Eurydice Gardner. She lived in Texas with her family during the time it was a republic. [2]

She came to Texas with her parents from Tennessee in 1927 and shortly afterwards, was married the first time at age 14 to Robert Ray. In 1932, she married again, to James Bell in Washington County, TX. [1]
