Tolliver, Ester Gross - age 91, of 2020 Jack Acre Road, Somerset, Ky., died Wednesday following a short illness at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home, Somerset, Ky. Native of Harlan County, Ky. A housewife. Member of Church of God. Widow of John H. Tolliver. Survivors: stepmother, Laura Gross, Harlan, Ky.; sons, Troy Tolliver, Lawrence, Ky., Melvin Tolliver, Patriot, Ind., Carson Tolliver, Knoxville, Ronald Tolliver, Corbin, Ky.; daughters, Mrs. June Vanover and Elsie Gasner, both of Knoxville, Mrs. Beulah Hasemeier, Somerset, Ky.; half brothers, John and Cecil Gross, Harlan, Ky.; sisters, Mrs. Sally Angel, Corbin, Ky., Mrs. Addie Brown; half sisters, Miss Eva Gross and Mrs. Treva Williams, all of Harlan, Ky.; 26 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter, Mrs. Ruby Vanover. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Curry, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home, Richmond, Ky, Rev. Lonnie Daugherty officiating. Burial following in Madison Memorial Gardens. Visitation: after 8 a.m. Saturday at Curry, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home, Richmond, Ky.
