Biography

Jacob was a Friend (Quaker)

When Jacob Hadley was born on 14 July 1786, in North Carolina, United States, his father, Capt Joseph Hadley, was 40 and his mother, Mary Cashet, was 47. He married Ruth Hadley about 1808, in Chatham, North Carolina, United States. They were the parents of at least 9 sons and 6 daughters. He lived in Chatham, North Carolina, United States for about 10 years [1][2]and Pittsboro, Chatham, North Carolina, United States in 1870. He died on 23 December 1878, in Chatham County, North Carolina, at the age of 92,[3] and was buried at South Fork Friends Church.[4]
