He married in South Carolina and was living in the Pendleton District in 1800 with his wife and two young children[2]
In 1806, Enos received a bequest in his father's will and was named co-executor of the estate.
I do give my son Enos Halbert, what land he has in his possession including the land I bought from Henry Burdin, one Negro, viz Reda with the other property he has in his possession.
Family tree sources say that he relocated to Tennessee. An Enos Holbert married Rebecca Harper in 1809 in Sumner county, TN -- this would have been a second marriage for Enos. And there is an 1820 Census record for Enos Holbert in Warren county, Tennessee, with a male head of household in the correct age range.
