[The month and year were added later and I believe the year is in error: it should be 1835 not 1834. 5 March 1834 was a Wed - 5 March 1835 was a Thursday. Likewise, 8 Mar 1834 was a Saturday; 8 Mar 1835 was a Sunday. 1835 would be in line with the days of the week recorded in this journal. Jhs]
