There seems to be a narrative here - Jiry and his wife are living together in 1830, Lucinda is born in 1830, Rass/Charles is born in 1832, and E. W. is born in 1837. Hulda gives birth to an illegimate daughter in 1842, so her copulation with Wm Stone probably occurred in 1841. Was the marriage falling apart by Hulda's association with Wm Stone, or did it fall apart afterwards? By 1850, Lucinda is living in some woman's boarding house (or school), Rass is perhaps on his was to Iowa, where he gets married to Eliza McGeorge in 1856, and both Jiry and E.W.s location is unknown, though he might be with his father in 1860, living at his Uncle Daniel's residence. (Unless "Alison" is once of Daniel's sons, who would be the same as as E.W.

I thought that the Alison/Addison Hammond listed in 1860 might be Erasmus Winslow Hammond, who would be the same age in 1860, but its possible that the name might be a very poor spelling of Daniel's son Ulysses, who would be the same age in in 1860, if his age in 1850 is correct. The 1839 birth date given could be incorrect, so I need to check his birth certificate to be certain.

On notes I received from my Uncle Galyn Hammond, he mentions that Jiry held the title "Sheep King of Vermont", but I haven't yet found a source for this claim.

The name "Jiry", rather than a variant of Jerry, may be be the same as "Jiri" which is a Czech variant of George. Pronunciation: YI-ree

George originates in Greek language and means "farming man".
