Biography

John was Cherokee.

John Harlan was the son of David M. Harlan and Lucinda (Tucker) Harlan. In 1849, he and several other Cherokee men set out on a wagon train to California to work there in the mines. He died of fever on the way. He died without issue.[1][2]
