Research Notes
The Drennen Roll lists an Ezekiel Napoleon Harlan, however the Court of Claims documents for his siblings all refer to him as either Napoleon or Napoleon B. Harlan. The court of claims number, 2050, points to the document by his brother, Albert W. Harlan, listing his name as Napoleon Harlan.[7][8] He died in either 1862 or 1863, but there is no record of his death beyond the date.
