Joan Harrison was born about 1525 in Waltham Abbey, Essex, England. She was the daughter of John Harrison and Agnes unknown.^[1]

Joan Harrison, daughter of John and Agnes Harrison, married on 4 January 1549 Robert Cheney at Waltham, Essex, England.^[2] Joan and Robert Cheney had the following known children: ^[3]

Robert Cheney died 31 December 1567. On 3 June 1568 widow Joan Harrison Cheney married 2nd John Hanford, in Waltham Abbey, Essex, England. Joan Harrison was buried on 14 May 1597 in Waltham Abbey, Essex, England.^[4]
