John de Hastings, 2nd Lord Hastings, son and heir, of John Hasting and [Valence-2|Isabel Valence]] born 29 Sep 1286.[1]
He married Juliane de Leybourne, daughter and heiress of Thomas de Leybourne, Knt., by Alice, daughter of Ralph de Tony, Knt. They had one son, Laurence, Knt. [Earl of Pembroke]. [2][3] They issue, including one son:
John de Hastings, 2nd Lord Hastings, died testate 20 Jan. 1324/5. There was an extensive listing of John's possessions made after his death, and published. Heir was son Lawrence, aged 6 years.[4]

The exact birth date as given in his father's inquisitions post mortem in February 1313, the Stafford one saying that he was aged 26 on the most recent feast of St. Michael, which is on 29th September.

Should the two daughters of John (Hastings-120) and Juliane de (Leybourne-14), Eleanor (Hastings-1089), and Alice (Hastings-671) Cotton be detached as their children?
