Judith Hayward was born on 09 April 1675 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, the daughter of John and Anna (White) Hayward.

She married Philip Goss on 30 August 1699 in Concord,[2] the son of Philip and Hannah (Hopkins) Goss. He was baptized in Roxbury on 16 February 1678/9.
[3] He may have been born in Roxbury on 16 December 1676.[4]
Philip died in Brookfield on 13 September 1747 in his 70th year.[5]
Judith died on 18 April 1748 in Brookfield in her 74th year, "widow of Capt. Philip."[6] She was buried in the Old Indian Cemetery in West Brookfield with her husband where their gravestone still stands.[7]
On 01 May 1748, Thomas Goss, clerk of Bolton, was granted administration on the estate of the widow Judith Goss, late of Brookfield. In August 1748, a distribution of the estate of Philip Goss, late of Brookfield, gentleman, named Mrs. Judith Goss, his widow; second son John; (grandson) Philip Goss, son of the eldest son Philip deceased; son Rev. Thomas Goss; heirs of eldest son Philip Goss deceased; Judith Gilbert, wife of Thomas Jr.; Hannah Rich, wife of Experience; Thankful White, wife of John; and Mary Walker, wife of Daniel.[8]
