DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:

Yes, I have found sources showing the William Henry that married (Jemimah) Tomasen Benson. I will post them here.

We must be careful, in this case and all genealogical research, to separate individuals of the same name and time, according to their relations to others, their location, occupation, etc.

Please separate William Henry, husband of Tomasen Benson, and the William Henry who was the brother of Patrick Henry.

They may have been cousins, or whatever, but there ARE two William Henry individuals.

It is stated that the William Henry, who is the father of Benson Henry, Agatha Agnes (Henry) Maxwell, is not the William Henry who is the brother of Patrick Henry. This is a major issue that I have not seen any actual data proving yes or no. This is very frustrating. Apparently, they lived in the same area in Virginia. The book "Thomas Maxwell of Virginia and Georgia and his Descendants with a number of Allied Families", compiled by Annie Norman, Helen Maxwell Longino, and Annie Lou Maxwell, states records that John Maxwell (b. 1763) wed Agatha Agnes Henry, and a bondsman was Benson Henry, who married John's sister Keziah Maxwell. They further write that Agnes Henry was the daughter of William Henry and Thomason Benson of Madison Country, Virginia.

I'm wondering if you have the sources you could add for the wife being Jemimah? W.W. Henry, the early biographer for Patrick Henry only mentioned Alice Taylor, and his find-a-grave profile says that that William who married Jemima isn't the same as the William, bro. of Patrick, but unfortunately whoever put it there didn't say what made them come to that conclusion.
