DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jediah by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jediah:
Have adopted this orphaned profile. I plan to add a research note and then sever his association with linked mother, Sarah (UNKNOWN) Higgins (1700-1777).
There are two men named Judiah Higgins in Hunterdon Co., NJ during the late 1700's and eatrly 1800's easily confused. In Catherin Higgins Chapin's book the James Higgins (son) in this record is shown as a son of Azariah Higgins and Sarah Stout. This is incorrect.
